“Who are you” is the absolute hardest question to answer.
Meet Eve
Designer. Storyteller. Human.
My goal: help small business owners and entrepreneurs create a website they're genuinely excited to share with the world. One that actually feels like them.
As a lapsed Philosophy major with an MFA in theatrical lighting design, I've spent my whole life asking big questions and making stories look authentically beautiful. Navigating the web industry since the start makes me both a seasoned creative thinker and excellent company at dinner parties.
I'm a right-brainer who speaks fluent left-brain - a rarer combo than you'd think. I lead with curiosity, listen more than I talk, and genuinely love the puzzle of translating who you are into how you present yourself online.
Over the years I've had the privilege of working with organizations doing meaningful work in the world, including The League of Women Voters, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Huffington Post, The Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity, Orbitz Worldwide, ALS Association, Ad Council, National Audubon Society, and AOL. (plus if you’re into those things, you can check out my resume too.)
Outside of visual design, my obsession with storytelling takes a slightly different form.
I also created, host and executive produce Gen X Stories, a podcast about how the so-called lost generation found itself. Named one of the best podcasts by AARP's The Girlfriend, and featured in Fast Company, it's where I get to practice what I preach: that we all have unique stories worth telling, and that asking questions unlocks something real.
It turns out that podcasting is not so different from what I do for my day job - just in a different medium. When a client sits down with me to talk about their website, the first thing I do is listen for the authentic story underneath the business.
Doing the same on the podcast reminds me why story always matters the most.
I'd recommend her to anyone.
