They knew it was time to build a visual presence as strong as their reputation — they just needed the right guide. We started where every good story starts: with a new logo that honored where they'd been while pointing toward where they were going. Then, rather than launching them into a full website before they were ready, we suggested a focused marketing landing page — a smart, strategic first step to grow their brand and audience on solid footing.

And guess what? It worked.

LOGO & WEBSITE DESIGN

What happens when a foundation has been quietly doing good work for decades — well-known by name, but virtually invisible online? That's exactly where the Schoonmaker Foundation found itself when they came to Eve Simon Creative for help. And help we did — at their pace, on their terms.

Founded in 1992 by sailor and community leader James M. "Ding" Schoonmaker and his wife Patrice, the foundation carries forward Ding's philanthropic vision: a love of sailing, a deep sense of community, a soft spot for animals, and a belief in the power of culture to bring people together.
